There are many opportunities to enjoy the Valley by way of the rivers: relax during a leisurely river float or try your hand at a challenging whitewater adventure. It is during the cold season that visitors to can enjoy snowmobiling, skiing, ice fishing, snowboarding and the Copper Basin 300 sled dog race, which has become a qualifying race for the Iditarod.
